Electronic music, Em 25 Einzstuck - two similarly treated Metalique works but quite widely spaced in time. I had placed Einzstuck in box on it's own marked Electronic music 25, the next Em project, The Coventry Canticles for Coventry Cathedral, would need a whole CD Volume to itself, so a long time later, when I had to find a home for Xena, I paired it with Einzstuck on a single disc, they went together well and now Em 25 would be a full length album. I think it's important for the composer if he is also the publisher of his work to consider the number of discs his work would fit on.
1. Einzstuck - Rh 251 has the lovely quality of sounding like metal being cut, as if on a lathe, abrasive but purposive - a favourite work of mine.
2. Xena - Rh 433 - Aesthetically similar in nature but not in mood, Xena is much more rounded and smoother on the ear. Paired with, but not created as a companion piece to Einzstuck, infact they are not related at all and should be considered quite separately.

Though Dreyblatt’s compositional method is largely complex, his songs have the hard-hitting simplicity of rock 'n’ roll. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 15, 2023
